Big Easy Notary electronic lien and title program (ELT) is a paperless method by which the Office of Motor Vehicles, Big Easy Notary, and lien holders can exchange vehicle and title information for vehicles. To utilize the ELT program, a lien holder must contract with Big Easy Notary prior to recording alien on a motor vehicle. Pertinent title information will be electronically transmitted from the Office of Motor Vehicles database to Big Easy Notary via a nightly batch process. This information can then be viewed from Big Easy Notary’s ELT portal using your company’s login credentials.
